EGBANK Hard Token :

For more security, EGBANK offers you Hard Token Device that allow certain transactions performed on the account will be authenticated using One Time Password (OTP) for each financial transaction executed via online banking service.

EGBANK Hard Token Switching steps

• Press and Hold the Power button for 2 seconds to switch on the device.

• Insert the default initial pin for 6 digits and press OK.

• Create your pin for 6 digits and press OK.

• Re-write the same pin for 6 digits again and press OK.

EGBANK Hard Token activation steps

Log on Internet Banking service using this linkhttps://myegbank.com/Account/Index
Select My Information then click on Token Registration.
Switch Hard Token Device and insert Device Serial Number printed on the Device back on Device Serial field.
Press and Hold the Power button for 2 seconds then insert your pin and press OK, then the device will generate OTP and display six digits.
Insert the displayed OTP into Device OTP field and press Register Token on the internet banking web page.
A message appears that Hard Token device successfully registered “Token has been registered successfully”

EGBANK Hard Token Change Pin

Press and Hold the Power button for 2 seconds to switch on the device and insert your pin for 6 digits and press OK.
Make a long Press on OK button and the device will display asking for a new pin.
Set your new pin for 6 digits OK then Re-enter the new pin and press OK to confirm.

EGBANK Soft Token :

• For more security, any transactions performed on the account will be authenticated using One Time Password (OTP).

• You are requested to download " EGBANK Soft Token " application from Google Play or Apple Store to be able to generate One Time Password (OTP) that will be used to complete your transaction.

EGBANK soft Token activation steps

• Download EGBANK Soft Token application from Google play store or Apple store on your mobile device & Set PIN of at least six digits.

• Login to Internet Banking service from your computer, select My Information then Token Registration.

• Click on Register Token then insert the confirmation code received via SMS on your Mobile number (registered at the bank), then click on verify OTP. Press on the “Soft Token Activation Code” button that will appear on the screen, post which a QR Code appears, to be scanned using the EGBANK Soft Token Application installed on your Mobile Device, which must be done within one minute maximum.

• Upon completing the above mentioned steps, the EGBANK Soft Token application will display the OTP consistently to be used while performing any transaction on the account.

Steps for existing Corporate Customers to shift from Hard Token to Soft Token:

Login to Internet Banking service from your computer, select My Information then Token Registration, enter your Hard Token Serial Number displayed on the back of the device, click Release then confirm the action via the displayed message by pressing “Yes” to deactivate the Hard Token
A new tab "Soft Token" will appear to proceed with re-assigning a new Soft Token instead of the deactivated Hard Token
